The project aimed at carrying out the assessment of available treatment technologies to treat the bio degradable fraction of the municipal solid waste. The proponent has carried an in-depth study of the existing treatment facilities of municipal solid waste. It has also developed a business model for biomethanation plants at ward level in Mumbai.
