The main objectives of the project were to study the ecological system of the area with respect to soil, vegetation and water, and to understand their inter-linkages and interdependency. The project deals with identification of the various issues that have been detrimental to the environment and suggest measures for the ecological sustainability of the area. The study investigates into the various possibilities of water conservation measures for the area, and also looks into Watershed Management and organisation of the area around the lakes keeping in view the intensive visitor load to the lakes.
