The Environment Information System (EIS) has been initiated with a view to eventually serve as an exhaustive database pertaining to the biodiversity and the natural features within the MMR, that could be used as a resource by both researchers/students or planners as well as the lay citizen who may be interested in the region. This is an ongoing exercise and will be updated as and when more data is available. It is assumed that such an EIS will aid decision making and help disseminate knowledge at large.
The information provided here is garnered from various projects undertaken by our proponents and consultants and hence may contain errors. Under no circumstances can MMR-EIS be held responsible for any discrepancies or inaccuracies in the data provided herein.
