Kulgaon Badlapur Municipal Council proposed and developed 2 artificial ponds of 20x10x3m size each, one at the banks of the Ulhas River and the other at Shirgaon Wajape The Board of Governors in 2010 had decided to encourage the construction of artificial ponds towards environmental protection and improvement during the Ganesh Festival, thus the project was decided to be partially funded by the Society.
