The project aims at restoring the eco-balance of the lake admeasuring 1.33 hectares by adopting integrated approach for conservation and management. The project involved the physical cleaning of the unwanted floating matter which deteriorated the condition of the lake causing growth of various hyacinth, hydrilla, blue green algae and micro cysts because of excess of eutrophication.
