The project aimed at installation of Nisargruna Bio Gas Plant of 5MT/day capacity for processing of biodegradable waste at Matheran Municipal Council Premises. Nisargruna technology has been developed by the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC). Bio Gas and manure is generated as by products.
