The project aimed at creating awareness amongst the citizens on best practices in solid waste management. Knowledge was spread amongst the residents through various methods such as workshops, training programmes, involvement of school students in community clean- ups and awareness drives. The proponent also formed a steering committee of the local residents who further supervised the project in their respective area and ward.
